Iron Eagle
Iron Eagle is a very old film from 1986 The main characters are Jason Gedrick and Louis Gossett .
All of the fighter aircraft used (F-16 fighters; plus, F-21/C-2 Kfir fighters depicting enemy MiGs) are actually Israeli Air Force aircraft, repainted with the USAF symbol and a fictitious enemy symbol. I won’t write more because most of us have already seen this movie, but rest of us who haven’t seen it yet they should

My New Year 2010 resolve
As I said last time … We’re together on this blog for five months and I still don’t know what a plane flew over my head …. As I have already searched and wrote to you all generations of the few planes, I noticed some similarities … So I decided that I will now successively wrote out a new post in any aircraft, which, I thin,k may be this mysterious machine. I began to think that maybe it was some new Embraers aircraft from our studio and just want them to devote this post ….
Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica, S. A. is our aerospace conglomerate which produces commercial, military, and corporate aircraft, and provides related aerospace services. It is the third-largest aircraft company in the world in terms of yearly delivery of commercial aircraft and fourth-largest in terms of workforce. We will talk especially about Military part. They produced:

- AMX International AMX
- Embraer ERJ 145 military variants, composed of:
- Embraer 145 AEW&C

My favorite is AMX International AMX “Ghibli”. It’s a ground-attack aircraft for battlefield interdiction, close air support and reconnaissance missions.

The film details a joint Anglo-American plot to steal a highly advanced Soviet fighter aircraft (MiG-31, NATO code name “Firefox”) which is capable of Mach 5, is invisible to radar, and carries weapons controlled by thought. Eastwood stars as Maj. Mitchell Gant, a Vietnam veteran who infiltrates the Soviet Union, aided by his ability to speak Russian (due to his Russian mother) and a network of dissidents and sympathizers. His goal is to fly the Firefox back to the United States for analysis.
However, the KGB has gotten wind of the extraction operation and is already hot on Gant’s tail. It is only through the hard work of the sympathizer agents that Gant remains (barely) one step ahead of the KGB and reaches the fictional air base of Bilyarsk, where the Firefox prototype is under heavy guard. Gant manages to infiltrate the base with the help of the dissident scientists who had developed the Firefox and even constructed a secondary, air-refuelable prototype. Even though Gant’s presence at the air base is revealed and his helpers summarily executed by base security, Gant manages to start the Firefox and escape, just as the First Secretary, who was to witness a test flight of the Firefox, arrives.
Gant attempts to reach the Arctic Circle for refueling. The Soviet military tries its best to bring him down, but the Firefox’s technical superiority and Gant’s experiences render conventional attempts completely futile. The second Firefox prototype is eventually sent out to finish him and in a hard dogfight Grant uses his ability to think in Russian to communicate with Firefox’s thought controlled weapons system. Grant prevails and kills his opposition before taking course to the United States

Aero India 2009
Aero India is a biennial air show and aviation exhibition held in Bangalore, India at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. It is organized by Defence Exhibition Organisation, the Ministry of Defence and is held in association with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Air Force (IAF), the Department of Space and the Union Ministry for Civil Aviation.
In this year was the 7th edition of Aero India in 11-15 February. There was 289 Indian firms and 303 foreign companies participated in one of the largest international aerospace exhibitions in Bangalore.
Unfortunately I wasn’t on this event , but I found many nice pictures….
