Project from Poland

Did you know that even Poland has the interesting project of new airplane ? Unfortunately they finished only on prototype… But who knows on surely ? Maybe our country continues works with them… Everybody should think about that….

It’s Northrop YF-23….

YF-23 was an American prototype fighter aircraft designed for the United States Air Force. The YF-23 was a finalist in the U.S. Air Force’s Advanced Tactical Fighter competition. Two YF-23s were built and were nicknamed “Black Widow II” and “Gray Ghost”, respectively. The YF-23 lost the contest to the Lockheed YF-22, which entered production as the F-22 Raptor.

15 years he was a  secret project. Project of this airplane won on XTS auction that is Experimental Stealth Technology = experimental masking technology, announced by DARPA (Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency) in summers 1975/76.

First of the best… F-22 Raptor

This fighter aircraft of course don’t have the same wings that mine (from my photo), but I thnk that all of us should know something about this machine. F-22 Raptor is a single-seat, twin-engine fifth-generation fighter aircraft that uses stealth technology. It was designed primarily as an air superiority fighter, but has additional capabilities that include ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles.
